You are the guy who maintains the village quest bulletin board.


 You find the quests  and set the rewards, then wait for adventurers to take care of the village's problems.  Click on the quest board to review all the current quests.


Don't be stingy with the reward money.  Higher rewards are more likely to attract better adventurers, and you will need them to take care of the bigger threats.

Of course you don't want to give away all of your gold.  Your ultimate goal is to keep the village safe long enough to save for retirement.  When a quest is completed, you gain gold equal to the quest's value, minus the gold paid to the adventurer.

You lose if the Peril Meter  fills up.  Peril fills up based on the combined threat level of all outstanding quests.  When a quest is completed the peril is reduced.


You win if you reach $10,000 gold.

If a quest is too difficult for any adventurers to complete, you can add a Gear Allowance.  The difficulty level will be reduced by 1 level for every $200 in the allowance.
